Lorie is a native Rochestarian and received her BA in Mathematics from SUNY,  Potsdam and her MS in Elementary Education from Nazareth College. 
After completing her Comprehensive Pilates Training Lorie began  teaching Pilates in Rochester at Pilates Plus before moving to Atlanta in 2011 where she taught at Absolute Pilates.  After several years away from our beautiful state, she and her family moved back north in 2018 where she taught at Club Pilates in Clifton Park.  Lorie has a true passion for learning and has continued her Pilates education by attending several conferences and workshops including a four day GAP filler workshop with Rebecca Leone, the Classical Pilates Conference, as well as continuing education workshops at Body Precision Pilates Studio and Power Pilates in NYC. 
Lorie can’t stop learning and recently went back to school to study Occupational Therapy at Maria College in Albany, NY and currently works as an Occupational Therapy Assistant while also teaching Pilates. 
Lorie is a proud mother to two college students, Allie and Jacob and when she's not busy enriching people's lives, she enjoys spending time with her family and biking with her husband, Jeff.
